George Duffield - Producer
George Duffield has been
producing feature films under
the banner of ARCANE PICTURES
for 8 years. Credits include
Dot the I (Gael
Garcia Bernal, Natalia Verbeke)
which premiered at Sundance 2003
and won the Deauville Audience
Award, and MILK
(Joss Ackland, James Fleet,
Phylida Law).
In addition he has executive
produced Tonight at Noon(dir
Michael Almereyda), Black
Box (dir
Christian Johnson) and Associate
Produced Live Free or Die(Aaron
Standford, Zooey Deschanel). He
is also producing documentaries
including Olly and Suzi
(dir Rupert Murray). Upcoming
projects include Michael J
Basset’s Memory of Stone,
Ethan Prochnik’s Absinth
Project, Matthew
Parkhill’s 60 Pairs of
Calvin Klein’s
and Lucy Walker’s
Rumspringa (with
BBC Films and Paramount
Vantage). He is also developing
Robert Collin’s novel Soul
Corporation, with Jon
Jones (ARCHANGEL) attached as
director.
He is a published photographer,
working with wildlife artists
Olly & Suzi on their acclaimed
book Artic Dessert Ocean
Jungle. He recently won
the BBC Natural History Museum’s
Wildlife Photographer of the
Year award 2005. |
